Law Library

The heart of the Law School complex is the Law Library, one of the largest legal research libraries in the Southeast. Law Library collections comprise more than 500,000 volumes in print and microfilm. Taxation is among the special subject strengths represented in the collection. The Law Library’s 78,000 square feet of space include such student oriented facilities as group study rooms and spacious reading areas. Carrels throughout the Law Library contain computers or connections for laptops to communicate with the School of Law’s network.

Adjacent to the Law School complex, the University’s Otto G. Richter Library contains more than 1.3 million volumes, offering important support for interdisciplinary research. Because Richter is an official government depository library, it offers a wealth of primary research documents.
